Winter activities

Welcome to winter! The Côte-Nord Manicouagan region is renowned for its dry winter climate. So, despite the cold, you can easily perform winter activities without worry. Our members offer a variety of activities for everyone. The winter adventure awaits you! Couples, families or friends, you have access to activities as unusual as a night in a hut perched in the forest; guaranteed comfort. As a package, you can indulge in dog sledding, to ice climbing, Nordic skiing and eat delicious meals. Visit an outfitter open year round and enjoy many winter activities including ice fishing.


The region is known for its cross-country ski trails all around the region. For the more daring, The Boreal Lopett annually hosts many elite skiers at its annual event, held in early March.
Our hiking trails are also pleased by users. Several kilometers can be reached in winter, adorned with beautiful scenery.Hockey fans are invited to the games of the Baie-Comeau Drakkar   of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League  .
